“Opposite of Sex”

Well so sorry I actually got the name wrong last week, so please forgive me. This movie was very good for the age of it was made way back in 1998, that’s like eons ago. Christina Ricci plays Dee Dee Truitta 16 year old that moves in with her brother and gay lover. She soon becomes involved in a wicked love triangle, and her narration of the movie is awesome. So keep your hands on your man girls, Dee Dee is in town. Lisa Kudrow also in this very unique movie, she makes a simple but great splash. I give this one 9 sexy lollipops oh yes lick away.

“The Happening”

Ok one word “FREAKY” yes this movie was strange but had a lot of what if truths in it. Like what would happen if the bees were all gone? “Fred Claus”

This was a very funny holiday film that the whole family will enjoy, Vince Vaughn was the main character since it was about Santa’s brother and not Santa. The moral of it all is love your family, or it could be don’t be a relative of Santa. Either way funny funny movie worth the watch. Has some really funny moments with the elf’s and Vaughn, and Giamotti plays Santa very well. Enjoy this one with some friends around some Christmas cheer. I give this one 10 sissy elf’s. A must see.

“The Station Agent”

“Skid Row”

Well “Skid Row” was gritty and truth bearing, Pras Michel (of hip-hop group the Fugees) went to skid row in L.A. and stayed and lived there for 9 days. His eyes were openend wide to the destruction of the human soul, and the desperate measures someone can take not to be found. So many lost humans, he realizes that some are there due to circumstances others there own self induldgence of drugs and crime. They all seem to seek help. This is a definate watch and a 7 leather paddle movie for its harshness.

“The Visitor”

This was a charming little story of an awakening musician, Walter (Richard Jenkins) a distant widower that really never fit anywhere not even when his wife was living. Walter discovers an immigrant couple, Tarek (Haaz Sleiman) worth watching for his handsome face and Zainab (Danai Gurira), squatting in his Manhattan flat and becomes wrapped up in their lives when Tarek is thrown into a detention center. Parts of this story are so real to life, people that have lived in this country for years can be thrown away like yesterdays trash. All over simple paperwork, and you would think by now we would know the good guys from the bad. A wonderful Hiam Abbass co-stars as Tarek’s mother, who forges an unlikely connection with Walter. Director Thomas McCarthy’s follow-up to his indie hit The Station Agent premiered at Sundance in 2008. I give this one 8 sissy sticks for the crying factor at the end. So we had some really good picks this week, “Iron man” and What Happens In Vegas” both worthy of the time to sit down and pop some popcorn and relax and veg out. “Iron Man”

This is one of my most favorite picks so far, Robert Downey Jr. was at his best for this simple but heroic movie, the classic battle between good and evil. And his faithful side kick Gwyneth Paltrow, the women in his life that would do anything to have his heart. So this is a must see on all levels the special affects are awesome and of course Terrence Howard is outstanding as the devoted friend. Ok now we have all been there, in the “what happens in Vegas” state of mind, but we find our to characters really there.*giggles* Ashton Kutcher (hot) and Cameron Diaz ( could be hotter) find themselves in Vegas one breaking up with a boyfriend and the other finding new found freedom after he has been fired from the family business by his DAD!! Cameron would make a perfect fem dom Goddess with her bitchy attitude. Oh my you are going to enjoy the sexy outfits that Cameron is wearing a lot of dresses and dress suits, but so hot and sexy. So my picks were very interesting this week, I however had a problem with the USPS, they delivered just the envelope no movie! And it just so happened to be the “Secret”, so Ive let my little Pet Billy do the review once more with this movie since I did not have a chance to watch. Sophia’s Review of “The Hunting Party”

Ok this was a really good movie about the what ifs of why our government and other countries are not doing more to find these “war crime” leaders. This was based on Bosnia and the turmoil of the time which was not so far back in our past. Richard Gere is a journalist struggling with his inside view of the horrors of war. He breaks down on air and is never the same. Terrence Howard is is trusty camera man and goes through the motions of the terrible things that brought them back together after the fall of Richard Gere’s career. This is a must see for all of you thrill seekers and conspiracy theory thinkers. I give this one 9 leather paddles, seriously a manly stroker’s kind a movie. Enjoy.

Pet Billy’s Review of “The Secret”

Here is my take on “The Secret” with David Duchovny.  This movie was an entertaining and insightful take on the most difficult of relationships… between mother and daughter.  Love, hate…and ultimately reconciliation were at all work in this movie.  The method used to illustrate these difficulties comes about as a result of a tragic automobile crash…and during an intense scene at the hospital emergency room.  Both mother and daughter are dying until the  mother gives her “soul life” to her daughter so that the daughter may survive. This begins an awakening journey for the mother to live out her daughter’s life and to experience the daughter’s struggles with relationships, drugs, and sex. The journey back to life for the daughter’s soul requires that the mother learn to make peace with herself and gain the understanding into her daughter’s life that will allow the teenage soul to safely return to her own body.  I believe the movie will probably touch many of our Goddesses who went through struggles and only wished their parents could begin to understand the stress of being a teenage girl.   I rate this movie as nine leather paddles for the pain that must be endured..which eventually leads to greater understanding and happiness :)  Which we all gladly accept and appreciate from the Beloved Ones we worship!  Thanks again Ms Sophia for picking another enlightening an interesting netflix flick!!!

After a month long party extravaganza, we are now going to settle into the holiday season. Im hoping that we come up with some really great themes this month. Thanks to all the ladies that  worked so hard to make each and every event so much fun. So lets have a turkey lurkey of a great November and maybe we can have Ms. Santa and here naughty cross dressing elf’s December. I will be looking at some holiday themed films so that all the sissy’s and the stroker boys can have something to watch and talk about. This week our picks were “Far North” and “The Fever”. Both were really good films, about past and present, love and love lost. I really enjoyed both. Next week picks are for you horny deviants and you naughty sissy’s. “The Hunting Party”, just because Richard Gere is oh so HOT!! And “The Secret” with David Duchovny, well enough said on his sexy ass. He can get help with that sexual addiction from me any day.

OK my first watch was “Far North” stunning visual highlights of wide open spaces. It was very cold and icy, but it was so beautiful. This movie is about two women, one that raised the other from a child during a very bad war. They hid out and became more than friends but companions. This film shows the true strength of women put in survival mode, but of course with a devious treacherous ending. I give this one 8 leather paddles. If your into Asian women this one is a for sure win.

In the “Fever” Vannesa Redgrave plays a nameless woman who leaves her cush life in London and travels to an Eastern European country filled with civil strife, where her worldview is shattered. She awakes one day in a hotel with a fever and is wrought with daydreams and nightmares of comforting memories as well as extreme violence. The extremes seem to never end, day after day, night after night. She is stuck in this continuous cycle. There are some notables in this film like Angelina Joelie and Micheal Moore. When she is in her state of in and out, she speaks with people and has very real conversations. Hard to get your head around this one, there is really no beginning and no end. This one only gets 5 sissy sticks. And the director is Carlo Gabriel Ms.Redgraves son, did a very fine job directing his mother. The movie isn’t a total loss it does teach about respecting others, and not taking things you want just because you can. And also  not to go to other countries and get sick. *giggles*

Ms. Sophia Reviews “Pollock”

Well this was a great movie about Jackson Pollock a great American artist. He was renowned for his take on “modern art’. Im almost sure I can paint like that, yeah for sure, where are my millions. Ok so those who hated him in the beginning, learned to love him and his work toward the end. Mr. Pollock had some definite demons, he drank to much and loved to many women, was very hard to deal with. He was also suffered from depression most of his life. He was killed in a car accident with his lover in 1956, while Mrs. Pollock was on vacation in Italy, uhmm I bet he would have made the perfect cucky husband. One of his paintings sold for $140 million at an auction some years after his death. If your at all interested in art i recommend this film, its easy to follow and from what i read gave a really good depiction of the time and his life. And anyway the sexy Ed Harris, MM so good. Love those slightly balding men. *giggles* So this one is a sure 8 leather paddles. I hope everyone enjoyed.

Pet Billy And His Review Of “Sex and The City: The Movie”

I really expected to not like “Sex and the City: the Movie” since I had not watched the series and figuring the target audiencewas women who are sexually frustrated…lol.  Well I was more than pleasantly surprised! Now when watching the movie be sure and have your remote ready and the pause, rewind, and play buttons memorized, cuz there are some very hot sex scenes worthy of replaying…but of course they provide only a tease in length but remain fairly graphic….hehehe…delightfully so.  Now as far as the plot goes there is actually plenty of humor, romance, plot twists, and I thought the acting was great.  There are lots of fashion and girlie moments to please the sissies… and the many difficulties that most men can truly identify with in our efforts to relate to women.   So I give this movie ten heart tugs for its romanticism, fun, and pure enjoyment!  I may even rent the series on dvd to get to know all the characters so much better…  This was truly another winner picked by our great Goddess Sophia… thank you so much my dear…your so great at everything you do!!!

So, Nicholas Sparks has given us many things, one of them being The Notebook. I have to say, I’m convinced the film version of the book did as well as it did because of the talent involved (Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams) because when I think of the books of his I’ve read they all fall into the same category as the movie version “Nights at Rodanthe” sadly was a bit tired. I was hoping for love and happy endings, which lately has not been Mr. Sparks forte. Was an awesome love story of two people meeting in an old creepy house the on the coast of South Carolina, the house had more character than Richard Gere in this one. (Diane Lane wasn’t much better) OK so boy girl meet, boy girl fall in love, boy girl separate for boy has to find his way. Boy dies a tragic death doing good things and girl is left to pick up the pieces. Could have been a much better ending. Only 4 sissy sticks for this one, I would say might as well blind fold ya! *giggles* Rent “Unfaithful” there last film together much more entertaining.

My Netflix pick was “Then She Found Me”, this was directed and starred in by Helen Hunt.(Mad about You) This movie was about her finding her mother and becoming a mother, and realizing there is more to it and more ways than one to become a Mother. Her adopted mother dying and her dealing with her own mid-life crisis. Helen Hunt did a fabulous job as the wounded wife wanting and desiring something so badly. She wants a child. One of her own, not adopted like she was. I will give this short little film 5 sissy sticks for great casting and a pretty good adaptation of the book. Matthew Broderick, Colin Firth, and Better Midler round out the cast. The Divine Ms. M, fabulous as always.

Ok one of our picks are going to be fun and light hearted get us in the mood for some nice cold weather, and curling up with a nice hot cup of tea, or me! *giggles* OK “Sex and The City:The Movie and “Pollock” are my next movie picks. Both can be found on Netflix. “Pollocks” not that up beat but I do love his paintings, its the story of his life.
