“2 girls hire 2 guys of 1 reason”. ‘Strictly Sexual’ is a fantasy scenario for everyone.
This movie starts with sex then progresses to the intimacy of relationship. Set in Los Angeles, a wealthy aspirant writer Donna (Amber Benson) and her shy fashion designer best friend Christi Ann (Kristen Kerr), decide to hire male escorts strictly for their sex.
Two drifting unemployed construction workers from New York, Joe (Johann Urb) and Stanny, (Stevie Long) are mistaken for the hustlers and the real love story follows. After all the players realize their true identities, the women propose that the two men live in the cabana house by the pool and are only allowed inside for the girls booty calls. The guys’ only stipulations are for satellite television and beer.
The story is not only about the variety of sex, but also about the four characters that you come to know and identify. The script opens up to a wide range of actual situations and relationship problems, with unexpected twists from stereotypical characters. It has a witty, smart dialog and overall reality that begs the question ‘does love spoil the milk’.
“Strictly Sexual” is a sweet, funny, sexually themed movie that delivers a roller coaster of emotions and is certain to amuse. The accompanying soundtrack is perfect. I say three stars for a genuinely entertaining and honest comedy-drama that you will long remember.
